The Healer’s Presence is a powerful force in a client’s transformation. A warm, loving, and nonjudgmental attitude allows a client to deepen into self-study and opens the possibility for healing of chronic conditions of the body-mind-spirit. The safety of the practitioner’s presence can allow a client to gain a greater awareness of body. Exiled parts of self can emerge and heal.  Suppressed memories and emotions can be processed. The experiential training of Hakomi cultivates the practitioner’s personhood and presence. The training teaches you to become a better listener, both to content and subtle nonverbal cues. You begin to notice how and when you get “hooked” in the healing process and fall out of mindfulness and loving presence. This workshop is open to practitioners from varied modalities (psychotherapists, counselors, acupuncturists, body therapists, energy healers, etc) who want to learn theory and practices for cultivating their healing presence.
