An Introduction to the Hakomi Method: Science and Spirit
June 4, 2016 @ 10:00 am - June 5, 2016 @ 4:00 pm
$250CONNECTING ANCIENT SPIRITUALITY AND MODERN NEUROSCIENCE
ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:
This introduction to the Hakomi Method will include the Hakomi approaches to Mindfulness and Loving Presence which is validated by the work of pre-eminent neuroscience researchers and psychiatrists like Daniel Siegel, Allan Schore, Stephen Porges, and Thomas Lewis.
The work of each of these pioneers supports the value of utilizing mindfulness and human to human connection in fostering wholeness within our species. The Hakomi Method bridges this current research with ancient spiritual teachings. From its inception, Hakomi has harnessed the power of the Loving Presence of the practitioner with the mindful awareness of the client to co-create a context for meaningful and lasting change in client’s lives.
Please join us as we explore, in theory and practical application, the interface between current neuroscience and the Hakomi method.
